Compliment your dining room with this beautiful serving buffet table. The buffet table as shown was done in solid cherry with a light stain to match a customer’s chairs. The table dimensions in the photograph are 72w x 24d x 30h. The top has a gentle curving front with the characteristic Boothbay series underside cove detail to give that elegant thin edge. The front skirt is also cuved to match that of the top. Optionally one or two drawers can be added.

The Boothbay Card Table is ideal for those folks that want a beautiful folding table to play cards, assemble that new puzzle or just for some temporary table space. This all wood table has the characteristic coved edge Boothbay detail to give the appearance of the thin crisp edge on a solid top. The legs neatly fold away to make for easy storage on only four inches. The graceful tapered legs when extended lock into place splay gently outward for stability.

The Boothbay Coffee Table brings the same simple elegance of curved sides and tapered legs as the coffee table. A hand rubbed oil finish with a wax topcoat over Black Cherry wood was used in the design shown. The top, like the coffee table, has curved ends to match the frame and a coved finish detail around the underside of the top revealing a thin delicate edge. The bottom shelf also has curved ends matching the contour of the frame and top. A drawer option is available and each piece is available in three standard sizes. In this example there is a mix of heart and sap wood.

The Boothbay Curved End Table brings a simple elegance of curved sides and tapered legs. The table show here is made from black cherry with a hand rubbed oil finish and a wax topcoat. The top has curved ends to match the frame and a coved finish detail around the underside of the top revealing a thin delicate edge. The bottom shelf also has curved ends matching the contour of the frame and top. A drawer option is available and each piece is available in three standard sizes.

The Boothbay Sofa Table works well for dressing up the back of a sofa or as a nice hall way table as show in the picture. An optional shelf on the bottom provides a nice area for a display of dried flowers or a basket of books. An optional drawer is available to store keys, gloves or other items. Each piece is available in four standard sizes. If none of these sizes meets your needs, please contact us to make one that fits your specific needs. It can be custom made as either a solid table surface or made to expand with two included leaves (see Boothbay Dining Table Without Leaves). The leaves are 18 inches in width. The legs are removeable to allow for ease in transporting the table. The table top can be made either with square corners or the overall table can have a gentle elliptical curve along all sides (priced separately). Shown in the picture is a custom configuration made from solid cherry, done for a customer that included attaching Boothbay Buffet tables to either end. The buffet tables latched to the main table. This table configuration seats 18 comfortably in a 144 long x 72 inch wide table. Note only a square corner design can be used on the main table in this configuration.

This elegant table combines the beauty of wood and glass to entertain and display your books and conversation pieces. The table top encompasses the crisp thin edge of my Boothbay look. The tempered glass is inset into the top and ringed with Walnut. The top shown in the piece is made from Curly Cherry giving a beautiful shimmer effect when the light hits it. The leg style is new,combining the contrasting woods of Cherry and Walnut that has a gentle curved taper. A see through shelf gives a lighter look to the piece allowing you to see the items on the shelf and the floor. Other sizes and wood combinations can be designed to meet your personal taste.

On those occasions when you need a side table for that party or a place to have dinner in front of the TV, the Boothbay folding tray table works great. The tables shown here are crafted from Walnut and Birdseye Maple. Through wedge mortises are used on the legs to add strength provide a view of some fine handcrafted joinery. The top has a scalloped underside around the tabletop giving the appearance of a thin elegant edge. The unit easily folds to be stored when not in use. The finish is hand rubbed oil with a waterproof varnish for the top to give added protection.

I like to use contrasting wood colors to add a different look to this very elegant table. Any combination of woods can be used for the top and legs. Please add 15% to the price of the higher wood.

The Cape Neddick Mission Coffee provides plenty of room for holding your favorite accessories or space for plenty of appetizers for your next party. The table shown here was done in oak with a urethane lacquer finish. The overall size as shown is 48″ width x 25″ depth x 16″ height and has a bottom 42″ width x 19″ depth shelf for additional storage. An optional drawer is available (16″ width x 14″ depth drawer). The legs and spindles are mortise and tendon with decorative pegs for each leg giving additional strength to the piece.

The Cape Neddick series of Mission style tables for the living room offers the clean style reminiscent of the works of Gustav Stickley. This end table matches a coffee table and sofa table. The piece shown here is done in Red Oak with a urethane finish and a tinted golden Oak stain. The legs and spindles are mortise and tendon with decorative pegs for each leg giving additional strength to the piece. Optionally a drawer can be added to either the side or front. Please specify when ordering.

The Maine Cottage Table makes for a great addition to any kitchen or dining room. Whether you have a small intimate space or need room for a large gathering, the Maine Cottage Table can be made to suit your particular requirements. A 36″ length x 36″ width table is shown here and is done in Ash with a polyurethane topcoat. The expandable tables can be lengthened with one or two additional leaves. Each leaf adds an additional 12″ or 18″ of table top to create a table that is 36″ wide by 48″ or 54″ or 60 or 72″ or 84″ or 90″ or 108″ long. Please specify when ordering. This uniquely designed table was built for a special client in Maine. The table design was inspired by Thomas Monahan and called “Emergence” in the 2008 Fine Woodworking Furniture Issue of 102 Contemporary Designs. The design was changed to meet the taste of the client and is shown in the pictures above. The choice of woods in these photos are highly figured American Black Walnut with a small amount of white sap wood to give it a distinct look. The Rock Hard Maple table legs are splayed inward and are also curved with a through mortise that allows the ends of the Cherry arch to protrude through. The arch is wedge pinned on each end with Walnut wedges. The top has a Cherry inlay giving a faux appearance of a through mortise from the arch below. The Cherry inlay is wrapped with a decorative piece of Birdseye Maple. This table can be made in a variety of other woods.

This gorgeous buffet gives lots of room for storing dishes and silverware for those special occasions or everyday use. A large top surface gives plenty of space for serving those large family gatherings. The buffet as shown has a large double door center section for big pieces. The center section has a single adjustable shelf. The shelf is only half the depth to allow room for very tall items. Three drawers on either side of the center section provide storage for silverware and dishes. All drawers use heavy-duty ball bearing drawer slides to support the weight of china or stoneware. A smaller version of this piece is available without the center cabinet section. Also I would be happy to design a buffet to meet your exact needs.

The Rockland End Table follows the Asian look found in my other Rockland pieces with the tapered legs and curved front apron. The End Table shown is made from Cherry and accented with Walnut. The top is made from Curly Cherry.
