Cape Neddick Mission Bed
The mission style bed shown here is done in Ash with a hand rubbed oil and wax finish that lets the beauty of the wood grain show. This finish produces a warm creamy glow to the wood.This bed can be ordered without the mission style footer. A Maine Cottage style footer can be substituted if a simpler look is desired. All beds come standard with a four-piece removable platform to hold the mattress. The bed does not require a box spring. If a box spring is desired the height of the platform can be adjusted.
Optionally hardwood slats can be ordered as an alternative for the platform to support the mattress. Optionally the Cape Neddick Bed can be ordered with a Maine Cottage style footer.

Cape Neddick Under Bed Storage Unit
The Cape Neddick under bed storage unit provides a efficient way of utilizing the space under a bed. The solid wood constructed piece has beautiful raised panel sides, top and back. A beading detail characteristic of the Cape Neddick Bed runs along the top and bottom of the piece and each drawer. It is almost too bad such a gorgeous piece will be under a bed. The piece shown has two drawers 24d x 20 1/2w x 7h. The drawers are mounted on heavy duty ball bearing slides allow each drawer to hold heavy items. The piece has four very low profile ball casters to allow the unit to be moved from under the bed. Two units can easily be accommodated on a full, queen or king size beds for storage on both sides of the bed. An important detail when ordering is to know the height of the bed rail on the bed to allow for proper clearance.
Note other sizes can optionally be designed for your particular requirements.
Maine Cottage Bed
This piece is simplistic in design and perfect for the cottage. The straight legs of this four posted bed conveys simplicity, but with a sturdy capability. No box spring is required as the mattress rests on a firm removable platform supported by the bed rails.
The Maine Cottage Bed header board (not shown) can also come with gentle elliptical curved face. Please see the options below.

Portland Palladian Bed
This finely crafted Palladian bed show here in Oak is made of a hand bent curved frame. Each spoke is hand fitted, and mortised into position to give the elegant radiance of a sunburst. Seeing the morning sun shining on this bed simply highlights its beauty and fine craftsmanship. The bed is straddled with matching nightstands.The picture shows the Portland style with a matching footer that is slightly lower in height. The bed does not require a box spring. Your mattress simply lies on the bed frame. The size of your mattress should fit in the bounds of the mattress area given below. If a box spring is desired the height of the platform can be adjusted. The header board is 44″ high and the footer is 32″. Optionally the Portland bed can be ordered without the footer or with a Maine Cottage style footer.

Quoddy Sleigh Bed
The Quoddy style bed shown here in Birdseye Maple, complimented by the Quoddy Hope Chest, with a hand rubbed oil and wax finish that lets the beauty of the wood grain show. This bed can be made in a variety of other woods as listed below.This bed can be ordered without the Quoddy style footer. A Maine Cottage style footer can be substituted if a simpler look is desired. The Hope Chest was selected as one of several pieces in the Maine Wood 2008 contest by the Messler Gallery at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine.

Rockland Bed
The Rockland Bed blends the tradition of American Mission style with a hint of an Asian architecture. It is what I call my East meets West design (C) Copyright 2008. This signature piece shown is made from solid Cherry with Walnut inlays on the Header, Footer and Side Rails for accent.
