A beautiful addition to a bedroom is our Portland Hope Chest lined in cedar. This chest with its matching detail of the Portland series can hold all of the memories. The chest comes in two standard sizes of 49 1/2″ wide or 61 1/2″ wide. The lid can come in either a straight or curve front. The lid is support with spring loaded latches to hold it in place when raised and prevent it from dropping rapidly when being closed. An optional shelf 17″ length x 20″ width x 4″ depth with small divided compartments can be added. The shelf compartment is removable and sits on a supports inside the chest.
