New Furniture pieces for your Bed Room and Living Room

This year I have been busy making all sorts of new pieces for your bed room and living room areas. First I have created a new dresser, chest, nightstand and mirrors in the Rockland series for your bedroom. The pieces shown are all done in Cherry with Walnut handles. All of the drawers are dovetailed and the interiors made from Ash. The Chest and Dresser can made in a variety of drawer configurations. The mirror comes in three styles; wall, short stand and an stand with the same curves top pieces as my Rockland Bed. All have Walnut inlays. The wall mirror can be made in other sizes. A 35h x 41W version will be available soon.

In addition, I have added a new Rockland Shoji Lamp to the collection that is 49″ high. This is a medium height version for your Living Room or Den along with my 26″ high table model and 72″ floor model. This lamp has three light levels as the other lamps in the series.

Last I have added a new Rockland Floor Lamp the matches the Rockland Asian motif with a handcrafted wooden shade using rice paper. The lamp comes in two different sizes. There are a pair of sockets with pull chains for use with three way bulbs.

Sebago Furniture goes International

This past January, Sebago Furniture shipped two custom made Walnut Rockland Shoji Floor Lamps to South Africa for a special client. The Lamps where prepared to work on 220V. The lamps were shipped using Bundle Box.

We were looking for new bedroom furniture, which was distinctive, well crafted, and also functional. We attended the Fine Furniture Show in Providence , R I and found exactly what we were looking for in Rob Brand’s products. We purchased the Cherry Rockland Bed, Nightstand, 5 and 6 Drawer Dressers and Wall Mirror, all with walnut accents. All of the pieces are crafted of the highest quality and attention to detail and Rob was wonderful to work with. Everything was delivered on the date promised even after we made a few changes to the 6 drawer Dresser size and added the Mirror to the order. Rob, thanks very much for creating and crafting such awesome furniture ! We love each piece more every day.

Sebago Furniture will be displaying its Fine Furniture with the Maine Craft Guild at the Maine State Museum this coming November 7 and 8th. Come see some of my fine furniture pieces including my signature Rockland Bed. The show runs 10AM until 4PM each day. While you are there, stop by and visit the Museum, there is a lot to see and learn about Maine.

Once again Sebago Furniture will be at the Common Ground Fair this coming Friday through Sunday, September 25 – 27th. Sebago Furniture will be in the Maine Market Place East Tent near the South Gate. A group of the Guild of Maine Woodworker will be located in the same tent. Sebago Furniture will have on display their signature Rockland Bed and Night Stand along with a variety of other fine furniture pieces. Come by and say hello.

Rob,

Robyn and I just wanted to thank you one more time for our absolutely beautiful bed. There are no words to express how much we love it. It has been a pleasure working with you from the beginning and we will definitely stay in contact as we are now dying for the nightstands!!!!
